going to art school

wow, it's been such a long time since I last actively contributed something to deviantArt!

HOW ARE YOU DOING? :D

the reasons for my absence:

1. I have a job now and am therefore working everyday, which leaves me with little time for art.
2. I was very busy being creative for the entrance tests of art school!

...and I made it! :party: I got accepted! the headmaster (who was one of the judges) praised me to the skies.^^ he really seemed to like what I did with the given themes and assignments. that's why I'm rather proud of my works, so I will probably show you sometime soon. One task was to work with a given phrase, the other was to create a series starting with a photograph they gave me. and this turned out to be a month-long process (also because I had little time because of my new job). anyways, I'm glad I spent so much time with it.

by the way, I went to the oral exam dressed like this: I guess it helped? lol

my course starts next year, so I will have some time to return to Japan again. this time for more than just a month, I hope.

well, 'til then, I will be uploading stuff again and looking forward to getting constructive criticism.

...and enjoy my very last teenage days...
oh, just in case someone wants to get me a present for my birthday next week: the Canon 5D Mark II is on top of my wishlist :heart:

...haha^^ kidding.

Haha i'm half Chinese(Hong Kong) :D Indeed, that's quite rare! Also seen a few more half Swiss/Philipino and Swiss/Japanese people, but they're pretty few =O
